I was looking for a long term software development project to enjoy coding with the Go programming language. I got this hammer and want to use it.

Recently I have been struggling with 3D software to model parts for 3D printing, and also watched a podcast where the problems with 3D modelling software were mentioned. So that was the spark that prompted me to decide to create such a software tool, or at least attempt it (since it will probably be hard to do).

Hopefully I can push this out fairly swiftly since I am now 62 years old and don’t really want to be spending a decade on version 1.0. Well, stay tuned …
